Hello all,
Here is my latest project
It will be a figure vignette in 1/35 scale, based on the french comic character Neige (or Snow in english, Sneeuw in dutch) written and drawn by Gine and Convard. This will be my miniature interpretation of this character and his “world”.
Materials used are:
Helo miniatures pelvis and torso
Hornet Heads
Dragon and Historex hands and Dragon shoes (as a base for the boots)
Plasticcard
Magic Sculpt
Duro
Procreate
Snow
First layers of paint. The figure will be painted with Humbrols
Progress utill now. The face and shawl are done, again with humbrols
The angel statue
First paint, a base layer of Vallejo, then oils
“Trace” the dog
The dog started his life as a Tamiya german sheperd from the farm animals set. It is in progress to be converted as Trace, Sneeuw’s guardian dog.
Originally I intended to sculpt a crow also, but laid that idea aside. I try to get my hands on a Tamiya plastic crow
Lay out
The wooden base is made by Eric Jacobs from Jade bases. It will be sprayed black
Groundwork is done with AB putty
The column is made from plaster with a AB plate on it
All the best,
Robert Jan

I don't know the source...
I can tell you that the sculpting is really nice and I am intrigued to see more.

Hello all,
A little update.
Paintwork on the statue is finished and will get his layer of snow soon .
Sculpting on the dog is almost finished, only his tail needs to be detailed and some touch ups here and there.
I managed to get a Tamiya plastic crow in 1:35 scale. It will get new legs and claws of fine iron wire and duro.
Greets,
RJ

Hello all,
Geraint, Tim and Kjell, Thanks
An last update just before ending the project.
Snow is almost finished painting, some minor things and i have to add the waving bandana.
The dog needs his collar to be outlined, and as it is painted with oils, i hope he dries to a nice satin tone.
I already added some snow to the base and statue and when the figures are all ready I will add the rest of the snow and hope to get a wind effect in it.
The snow is from Grey Funnel Line from Germany
Photo's are not perfect in reality there is more contrast. The scale is 1:35
I have a nephew with great photogear who will make the photo's of the endresult. I will post them here also
