Hello,
thank you first for giving me your votes for my model.
I built it not only straight OOTB, I used exactly the paint chart of the instruction - all Xs and XFs demanded, no one less or more.
Though it is a small model it required much work, especially painting all the details.
Further it had to be build like a classic car, that means that assembling and painting were executed parallel.
Here are some pics of the finished model as well as some impressions of assemble and painting.
(I have got much, much more pics as I have planed is as a build feature -so beware Darren and Rick...)

Looks very nice! I tend to build OOTB as well. I hope when I build mine that it turns out as well.

Very nice. Did you paint the instruments on the dashboard?

Marco the idea is that you send the pictures to us and we do an On Display feature of your model with a small write up, however it's not a problem bud.

Hello,
thanks all for watching and your feedback.
"I hope when I build mine that it turns out as well"
Gary, sure you will.
The key is: Masking.
There are a four technics used only to paint (pre- and post-shading, filter and pigments), but "simply" carefully-painted details let the model look like this.
"Did you paint the instruments on the dashboard?"
I did not Thomas, as I decided zet ze dashboard is detailed enough and that further detailing were not worth this effort.
Darren, I am familiar with the idea of the on display feature. I have thrown this thread into the forum as a snack, which will be devoured fast and might be disappeared within a day (or two).
I have prepared about 100 pics you and Rick will be swamped with...
