Hi
Try these
http://www.modelhobbies.co.uk/shop/zvezda-german-sniper-team-wwii-3595-p-5792.html
Can't vouch for what the figures are like though as I've never brought them. Maybe a search around will come up with images or a review.

Hi Andrew,
As far as I know there was little to distinguish a sniper from any other German soldier (awards and telescopic sight aside), so you could really use any winter gear wearing German figure in a prone position. Simply fit a sight to the rifle, which was the normal Kar98 IIRC.

(p.s. Alan, I think I've heard the Zvezda figures are a bit dodge - although the new vehicle kits seem rather nice )

Andrew I have the set Alan refers too, they are not great but are usable, there is also a Russian set of snipers which may be of interest.

Hi Andrew i've just finished building up the Zvezda German sniper figures and whilst they aren't as good as say Dragon's figures with a bit of substitution of weapons and equipment (mainly spares from dragon and tamiya ) the overall finish isn't bad
also Dragon did release a 4 figure set called "German Snipers" kit no 6093 ( not sure if they're still available)

Hi
another option is a possible resin figure in the pose and clothing you requested. I don't think you'll find anything in Alpines Miniatures fitting this description but both Warriors and Verlinden do an extensive range of stuff.
Warriors are carried by Netmerchants in the UK and Verlinden by Historex. I can't think of any off hand and don't have the time to trawl through the pages right now. Check them out at
VLS Warriors
Verlinden
Hope it helps.

Dragon has a German Snipers set with 2 teams (sniper & spotter). One is in the summer uniforms, the other in the winter white overalls. I don't know about the availability, although I have seen in on eBay in the past. It's set #6093, apparently re-issued later as #6177.

There is a good dragon models german set called desperate defense which has a good couple of poses that you could put different arms on to make a german sniper lying down instead of standing up.
