This one is for the Gun Bunnies. Do Paladin crews wear the green Nomex CVC coveralls?
Thanks!

I would guess that Nomex is an option.

Yes, just like tankers, NOMEX is one of the options for their wear. The NOMEX uniform is actually called the CVC Uniform, Combat Vehicle Crewman Uniform. It is designed and intended to be worn by all tracked vehicle crewmen to reduce the risk of burns in the event of a fire from enemy contact. In Iraq, many Up-Armored HMMWV crewmen wear them as well since they were going up in flames in IED strikes. The new ACU uniform has a NOMEX ACU version too that looks identicle to the normal ACU, but has a 1" green fabric square on the left cargo pocket and left sleeve cuff to identify the NOMEX ACU.

Thanks for the replies!! I was issued a set on the M270's, but wasn't sure if Paladin crews were authorized them or not.
Thanks again!!
