right I know every one has a wish list for what they'd like to see tamiya bring out next
but being realisitic what do you think the next release will be giving at the moment most
of the kits seem to be updates of older kits apart from the t-55 and pershing
but on the hole the past 12 months have been great for armour releases from all companies an if whats on the cards this year sholud also be a bumper harvest for kits
as well
damm to many kits not enough time or cash

The only model I wish the big "T" - Tamiya would make, is a completely new, redesigned from the ground up, fully accurate, sponson filled Sherman!
Tired of their rehashed kits sold as new that need to many fixes to make it accurate.

I know most of you are all armor fans but I would REALLY like to see them come out with a GOOD 1/350th scale HOOD. The only really good kits of her in the larger scale are expensive resin kits.

aye looking at the current re-molds of the bradley ect tamiya have set the ball rolling with the recent "rumble" in the middle east and these come with the gw2 updates so who knows
but I agree tamyia should reinvent the m4 as dragon seem to be dragging (no pun intented)
with their re-release of the sherman mold's they have even though there cl;early seems to be market demand for them and as for dragon why not ask for the little bit extra detail since
they seem hell bent on issuing every german combatant of ww2 why not ask them to include the individuals dog tags as well and surley if some one can be arsed to do an injection molded brit/canadian armour crew they will easy clear up that sector of the market aswell

Let's see what's in my list. First of all, I would really like to see some brand new kits, like the others said, not old ones with some add-ons.
1. An ELEPHANT or FERDINAND
2. A Sdkfz 247
3. Opel Blitz
4. Any type of ambulance and or radio truck

My "desires"
1. Why is most of the WWII armor stuff German....make more Allied vehicles (I know there are limited amounts of stuff to chose from)
2. If you insist on German stuff...choose some oddball vehicles once in a while.
(don't get me wrong, I like German stuff as much as the next guy, but I like good 'ol Olive Drab stuff too)....
3. 1/16 Allied stuff...like the Jeep...or some Figures...(not my forte but still different)
4. Stop charging an Arm and a leg for a re-hashed kit. If you are going to charge that much...give us new stuff. I don't mind paying the $ for a good quality kit. But I refuse to pay $50 for a kit that was first released in 1970 and hasn't changed since.

Hi, If Tamiya is into re-issuing some nre up-dated kits I would personally like to see a new Sherman or so, with all the very fine moldings that have been used on their Pershing and T-55.
I'm still basically a German fan, but I did get a big kick out of building one of the older Jumbo kits from this company this past winter and I think it would be kind of a neat to see some up-graded kits of this model type.
Take care, sgirty

I`m not that much of a modern(er) conflict builder but I think it would be nice to have a 1:35 PACV hoovercraft that did service in Vietnam. Further I would liek to see more of the funnies they made for the invasion (ie Crabflail, bridgelayer, DD, Etc.)

Faust,
I knew I was not the only psycho out there who wants a Tamiya PACV...
Man whatta kit that would be...
drool...
I know some of these kits are out or coming out from other mfg, but still if done to the Leo 2A5 or Type 90 level of detail would be amazing
UH1D
OH6A
PT76
BMP1, 2, 3
Hind D,E,F
Tunguska
BMD 1,2, Nona..
ZSU 23/4
but I'd settle for the PACV thank you very much...
Oh yeah, and a Sdkfz 251 UHU IR light! with Falke parts in the box to add to a seperate 251.
Mike

I really don't have a lot to wish for from the Big T. I would like to see them produce a modern military truck model. I'd really like the M54 5-ton for selfish reasons. But, I'd also like the new FMTV or even them to go for the HEMTT.

I look around my room.....Full of unopened kits' boxes....And I say: ENOUGH ! We ' ve all we need...!
Or maybe...A M728, and, of course, a M54 5t truck...And a decent M4A2, a White 6 tonner, an AFKWX-353 GMC, a M3 Lee and his brit' counterpart a M3 Grant, with a V100 ( or/and a XM706E2 ), not to forget a M551 Sheridan, and a M50 Ontos, a M37 ( bye bye Skybow...), and a BIG M123 ( w/ his trailer M15A2...)...Some Caterpillar thingies ( An D2 and a D7, at least...), a FWD-GarWood 20t crane, and his WW2 fellow, a Quick-Way/Coleman, a M715 Kaiser Jeep, and a M39...!
Plus a handfull of figures...From Pacific Marines to Nam grunts, 3 boxes of each, at first !
An AH-1G Cobra and a CH-54A " Skycrane ", plus a PCF " Swift boat " ( any Mks ) ' ll be well received, too.....
And it would be enough......For 2004, at least ! #:-)

I cannot say it too often:
A Challenger 2 from the big T would be great, with all the small things you need for a KFOR and an op. Telic vehicle.
