I have a litlle problem with the color of the engine.

I have some photo`s of the real stuf on one the engine is green (OD) and the other a museum piece it`s grey.

Ron, most of these trucks were based on civilian models in production at the time. For example the Dodge WC series of trucks used the same motor as the civilian lines did and the motor and gearboxes were painted a light semigloss grey. however the transfercase, Diff's etc was military and was painted Olive Drab. I am sure you will find that the color was a light Grey the same as the Dodge and GMC line of trucks as the Ward La France was a standard production truck of the time and converted to military use. :-)
