I know positively that the Prowling black panther was painted on light blue rectangle background (M113A1), what I wanted to know is was it ever on Yellow rectangle? An illustration in Squadron's Vietnam ref shows yellow rect - was that based on conjecture or on solid hard evidence. Can anyone let me know where I can find the proof?
Yellow numbers did exist (I wonder what other colors). I'm trying to find out if there are other colors used or was it just light blue. Was the illustration above based on B/W image leading the artist to think it was yellow instead? Please let me know. Thanks!!
Cheers,
Lawrence

Those are the pictures I was refering to. Btw, "11" is yellow not red. And that's where I've got the idea that it seems Blue is the only color used since it was used with yellow numbers...

Yeah, now I see your point... if you let your mind loose (not fixed within a certain boundaries) - it does look kinda "red"... more towards "pink"! Or orange with a heavy coat of dust! But given that the blue matches the blue in the picture below - it means the dust is not heavy enough - so I'm going to go with rich, bright yellow...
