Someone once wrote - dare to think small - so, this is my small 1-35 dio showing WW2 German mortar team at rest, originally I wanted British troops sneaking up the side weapons at the ready, then I realised there were so few and far between, unless I used resin, at £5.00 each, I'd rather stick to the above diorama. Not the best in the world, however I felt this was such fun, and I can't wait to make a start on my open land diorama or trenches, so many options, so many good subjects to pick from. Please let me know what you think of this little dio.

Nice little scene. I think you made the right decision by leaving out the British troops. I don't think the size of layout would support the additional figures.
To offer suggestions, I would have roughed up the grass a bit more where the crew has stationed the mortar. Potentially a bit more rubble on the back right corner, to fill in the space and add some interest.

Alec ,
That is a realy nice looking little scene , I agree it works better without the british troops sneeking up on them ,

Great scene there Alec! Came out well, will also agree there would be too much with some additional figures. Nice call!
