i have an idea floating around in my head, of a Dak vehicle, Panzer 1-4( unsure yet) or so,
being stuck in a snow drift in the north/ south pole, with a very confised driver poking his
head out, scratching his head, and basically saying to the driver "I thought you said you could read maps"
obvioulsy it wont be accurate , but the idea has given me a chuckle every time i think about it,
which is the pole with the stereotypical Red/White striped pole? North or south,
i think i dont want this to be to big, i may possibly go for 48'th on this one, im still open to 35th
as its basically and idea floating around at the moment.

i would ahve to make a hefty snow drift,
and i would like, to possibly have something from wich icicles could dangle,

any suggestions would be brilliant, i dont want to make up my mind on this too early
all the best
James

thats a great idea, i wouldnt worry about the accuracy since we're in the hobby for enjoyment a fun right? well u could have a igloo and a eskimo with some sled dogs looking strangely at the tiger tank and its crew if you want, but thats just my 2 cents

If you're doing a fictional piece, does it really matter which (magnetic) pole is stereotyped by a candy-striped pole???

If you want to show North or South, well the north pole is located over ice drifts, and you may have some Inuit people looking on. If you're showing the South, well I'd be rather surprised to see much else that penguins... The South Pole is also a helluva way from the Med....

Hey, in 1/48th you could use Plusmodels, reindeer bombsled and have them pulling Santa's sleigh!
