Hi,
I'm looking for pics of the US Army Casspirs as used by the EOD in Iraq, I've only seen 3 different pictures and I'd like to know if there are more.
Thanks.
regards,
Dennis

Can you show us what you already have so there won't be a duplication of effort?

I believe I have one (if not more) pics of the Casspir in US service but I can't post it right now because Photo Bucket is in maintenance mode.

It was one of the entries that took part in the CFPI at Ft. Knox in early 2006. There are some shots of it in the briefing slides and probably some PAO photographs somewhere. The slides are listed as FOUO and not available for distribution. There was a brief DVD produced by Ft. Knox TV, but it mainly talked about the program and may have had just a fleeting background shot of the vehicle.
CFPI=Comprehensive Force Protection Initiative, fancy word for a "test drive" the Army used to determine the capabilities of various off-the-shelf armored vehicles
PAO=Public Affairs Office
FOUO=For Official Use Only

These vehicles where used in 05 time frame for a test and eval done in Iraq. I do believe there is one left and that it is still running. The vehicle was designed by the same company that originally designed the buffalo in South Africa.
