Hello!

Inspired by Miloslav build, I started my Buffalo.

Special thanks to Milo from Real Model for the kit and correct wheels and to Rpbert Skipper for outstanding MRAP reference CD's. Highly recomended!

I started with interior: scratched heatercooler (?), replaced floor with photoetched from Eduard.

This vehicle looks like a school bus:-) Dry fit upper hull

Do you have canadian buffalo reference photos?

Thanks!

Milo, I've seen it on your model. Do you have some photos of this rack and CDN Buffalos at all?
Can you tell me more differences betwen US and CDN versions?

In the thread regarding Milo's Buffalo build I described the differences between the U.S. and the Canadian versions of the Buffalo.

Here is what I had posted based on comparing the U.S. and Canadian Buffalo external details.....

For those interested in the Canadian version of the Buffalo used in Afghanistan.....the Vajra Miniatures' kit includes both early and later version parts for the lower front and rear towing pintles, the rear ladder railings, the manipulator arm camera system, and the manipulator arm crutch.

The Canadian version has all the later version modifications.....except for the camera system....it uses the earlier style of camera. As Miloslav has included on his Buffalo...the Canadian version also has the T style antenna mounts.

Jason, thank you for your answer!

I'll make all that you said on my model. Now I'm working on the interior, so can you tell me about differences in the interior?

Your best bet is to look at Milo's Buffalo build for the interior.....there are extra shelves added as well the radios are different than the U.S. radios.

Nice work Anton ! Could you please tell me which Eduard PE set you've used for the floor plate. Eduard website pictures are not very helpful...

Thanks in advance

This vehicle looks like a school bus:-)

The only difference is with a school bus the armour plating should be in the INSIDE!

Excellent detail work Anton! :-)

Hello!

Thank you for your comments!

I/m happy to hear good comments from you.

Now I'm working on exterior. I had some problems with fitting spare wheels, couse correct wheels from Real Model are big and didn't fit on spare wheels mounting on Buffalo body.

Second problem: rubber screens. I tried to make them from tamiya tape, but failed to do it. I made it from foil. I'll make pics on the weekend
