Hi everyone,
For a project to stave off boredom, I got this at a local hobby store. I'm entering tis one into the Mighty 88 campaign.

Onto the pics:

This isn't finished yet so any help for it would be appriciated as I know squat of what this is supposed to look like.

Sorry for the bad pics, it's not the best weather for it,
Rich

Your build is coming along well Richard, tough one to do in the smaller scale. Keep at it!

I'd have to agree. Going from a big Karl to a tiny Flak is a BIG change

There are some nice details, but I think they are harder to bring out in 1/72 than 1/35.

I got some early morning progress done.

I noticed some mould seams on the barrel so I got rid of them.

I've painted the seats and removed some pin marks on the inside of the gun shield. I wasn't sure if the seats were metal or leather so I based it of the good old BIA: Earned in Blood and made them leather.

I've painted the cables on the two hauler thingies.

I also painted this seat leather.

This pic explains itself. This gun is tiny!

I'm hoping to depict this as a really good flak. It'll have barrel rings down to the very end if I can pull the decals off. But because it's a good gun, I have to depict it well used.

That is what I need help with because I have no idea how to do it.
I also need help on what the dials look like. I just can't keep 'em panzergrau...
Any help or comments are appriciated

Rich

Nice work, but one suggestion if I may? Cleaning up seams (both those left by the casting process and those created when gluing parts together) and sprew stubs (left when removing parts from their "trees") adds a lot to a model regardless of what scale your working in. It also is the first step in making your models "more real".
Otherwise, like I said, nice work.

For what it's worth.

Thanks Mark,
I'm always having slight issues with nubs, sanding, etc. I think I am slowly improving over time but I try my best.

Thank you very much for your comments. I appriciate them very much.

Here are the best pics I can do of my comple vignette? I don't know what the term for it would be but here it is.

The Hasegawa kit is pretty good I'd refer it to anyone wanting a quick build that could easily look better than mine...

Hey Richard, Great build, great base too.
a tip, we you wash your kit, try not to leave the stainy things behind, ( as seen on pic 6,on the support leg)
othr than that keep it up, keep fishing for tips and keep enjoying yourself

Thanks very much for the comments. I still trying to get the hang of washes, but I think it's easier to do on bigger things than smaller things. As for enjoying myself, this is becoming an addiction!

Much appriciated,
Rich
