Excellent work thus far, Peter. I do think the green on the camouflage helmet cover is a bit bright at the moment, but understand you may tone it down as you progress

I'm looking forward to following your progress on this figure - I don't think I've seen this Alpine figure painted much.

This has to be my favourite 1/35 figure.
Will be watching this one - I'm saving my stash one till I have the skills to compliment it.
Cheers

Hey, Pete
Looks awesome. What brand paint and colors are you using. I like that color on the uniform.

Hi Randy.
Thanks. I use art paints (Artists Tempera Polyvinilacetate Colour) But for colour of a uniform, I stir different shades of paints.

First class Peter,I think I will treat myself to some Alpine subjects when I manage to finish some of the things I have already.
Competing against others there will always be better or worse. Competing against yourself you can only get better, but only, only! if you learn from your mistakes.

Hi Peter, the painting looks great so far. One thing you should change though is the color of the gas mask canister's strap. These were a canvas strap the same color as the canister. As in a German field grey color similar to the uniform color.

Has noticed the jamb. I have forgotten to paint a carbine to a flask, and straps on a bag.
