This is the Tamiya kit it was basecoated with acrylics and then i used oils for just about everything else i am not generally a figure painting so i dont any special way of doin things i just fumble about with the oils until i like what i see, i am happy with the result so i threw together a small base for him.

Great Figure. The way you have captured the dry and wet mud on his boots is awsome Infact all the mud on his lower legs and elbows is 1st class. And you say you are not a Figure painter. if i was you, I'd pick up a few more 1/16th figures and let those artice juice's flow. Spot on Whats on is regiment cuff band? it looks great.
