I'd agree, good review. I got this book about a week ago, and it opens up all manner of possibilities as well as being a good read with really useful references.

It's an utterly incredible book - I never imagined the level of M4 modifications or just how rich a theater for Armor the Burma Campaign was. One of the best i've seen all year...

Hi Jim,
A very unexplored area of modelling, I was checking out IWM last night for some references for the pending C47 and there is a wealth of material and possibiliies not only for the Sherman but in figures and alternative projects for other kits.
Need some Elephants and Water Buffalo though
I was fortunate enough to get a signed copy from Dennis which was a very nice personal touch.
