Hey guys. I'm starting a diorama with a Marder II, and a few figures supplied with the kit. The Marder is by Tamiya. I have painted and shaded it, and I will give it a coat of future and some washes plus weathering, accesories, etc. I used German grey with little bits of buff and white mixed in to the the shading, which is not a trick of the light, it really is shaded like that.
I like to think it is my own style but I'm probably wrong. In this hobby though, everything is everyone's. I'm away at my Grandparents house right now so I'll post proper pictures when I get back tomorrow. Here are some samples.

Some new pictures. I applied Future and then a wash of Future + India Ink. I applied the decals with micro-sol and future. The tools and accesories will be painted and added on after I add chipping and a pin wash.
The highlighting effect is done with an airbrush, this includes the highlights on the upper parts of the wheels, shield and all raised areas. I tried to create gradients and rainstreaks to blend it in. I am using a new lightbox for these pictures, the old lightbox being used for the un-painted Marder. The pictures of the unpainted Marder II is supplied to display the extent of the highlighting, and the difference it makes. Enjoy!
