I would like to know who makes the best loking trees on the market in terms of realism, authenticity.
I am looking for any kind of trees. I want them to look like trees and not toys with foam on its branches.
I even tried looking at some RR sites but they really did not tell me much.

Hi Jody, one thing that I found to make excellent trees are actual tree roots. They have very fine, delicate structure to the "branches" which makes them look the proper scale. I then use Woodland scenics polyfiber to form the foliage. This comes already colored green, Then I arrange this over the miniature branches and spray it with hairspray. While wet I sprinkle ground foam over the fiber and wind up with a very realistic tree. You can also use dried parsley to represent leaves following the same procedure described above, Good luck.
