While I wait for the decals for the T-55 I have started on the Dragon 1/72 Pz IV F1(F). It is a really great kit with lots of parts and amazing detail. The build took about 5 hours. It has been painted with enamels then coated with hairspray. Tamiya white was distressed after that.
Anyone know if there are plans to extend this to other variants of the PZ IV?

After several washes, filters, pigments and dry brushes this is where the weathering stands. At this scale I don't think I should do any more so my attention will turn to the tracks and road wheels.
The kit does not come with a tow cable. I had been playing around with different method of twisting my own and I think I have some decent looking results. The cable is made from 12 wires twisted. They come from an ear bud headphone. The strands are extremely thin, like hair. 4 wires are twisted together then those 3 resulting wires are twisted. The sleeve is metal tubing and the insert for the loop is lead foil.

Ver nice!
I particularly like how you added profound depth by accentuating the contours of your model.

Marc,
Very NICE!!
I especially like the tow cable, which is excellent work in 1/35 scale, let alone Braille Scale!
Keep it up!!

Es ist fertig.
As good a kit as it big brother. I may do a few more of these. I will eventually do a mud/snow base. Questions and criticisms always welcome.

Hi Marc
Great build.
I'm about to undertake my first armour build since I was a kid.
It's the Hasegawa version of the F2 in 1/72nd.
Your build has provided some source of inspiration and also I might have to try to build the tow cable as you have done.
Cheers
Chris

Hello, Marc !
Excellent model for such small scale! Really, difficultly to present that it is 1/72 scale. Very good painting and assembly.
