Hi all. A quick question: Are the tracks for the M-36 the same as an M4A1 Sherman? Not the style but the width and length? Thanks-C.

All Shermans and their variants such as the M36 Tank Destroyer used a wide range of interchangeable tracks. So, YES, what's on the M4A1 could be found on the M36 TD.

The one feature about Sherman tracks that was rarely seen on an M36 or M10 were the extended end connectors, sometimes called "duckbills". These were fairly common on Shermans in NWE after the winter of 1944-45. However, the M36 and M10s had a sort of built in mini sand shield on the hull that had to be cut away to allow clearence for the EECs. This was sometimes, but fairly rarely, done. For example, the Dragon DS series WITH EEC, shouldn't be used unless you are going to modify the model.
