Hi,
Thinking to build a M706 Cadillac Gage V100 in MP service during nam war, I wish to know wich colour they have.
My project is to build the Abraxas (decal from Echelon coming soon) B company, 720thMP Battalion , 89th MP group, 18th MP brigade.
Is the colour OD or OD+black as some gun trucks ?
TIA
pascal

OD + Black in most cases Pascal. Just like the 'Truckers did with their mounts.
I'm doing "Catch 22" and have been chatting with the Gunner from that V-100, he confirmed that they painted their vehicles that way.
Hope this helps...

Pascal,
I know VLS Corporation do a resin set in their Trakz line it is TX0135 M706/V100 Tyre Set. and they say "4 finely cast resin tyres. Accurate in shape and detail & bears the name 'COMMANDO SPECIAL' on the side wall just as the real vehicles"
This is a link to a British site selling them but their photo of the tyres is missing and I can't seem to find another photo of them.
Hope this helps?
David

Yep - Ditto David here Pascal. I got a set from Squadron Mail Order for $17.00 - these are good representations of the early tires found on these armored cars.
