Tank crew and grenadier look to be layered against the cold so I would say early winter (fall) or early spring. The other 3 look dressed for spring /fall but not midsummer . GI with tommy gun would lose the shirt in the heat. Peoples tolerance for heat and cold vary so it could be possible to use all in one diorama ,We all know that one person who never wears a coat even in the coldest of weather. But they are ussually the only one. Just figure out the place and time of year of your scene and decide how you would be dressed. I bet there's lots of guys on this site who could tell you the tempature on any given day you chose...lol

Mike
IMHO only the first two are suitable for winter. The Tommy-gun figure has his trousers rolled, usually a sign that it is hot. The others could be used spring, summer, fall. Remember that these are combat troops spending not hours but weeks out in the weather. While I was able to be comfortable with only a sweater under my BDUs in early Dec and late Mar the intervening time was spent wearing as much as I could reasonably wear. Korea in the winter can get quite chilly, easily as chilly as Europe.

1. 35011 - us tank crew http://armorama.kitmaker.net/review/452 - Autumn/Winter/Spring, but not so say could not represent a cool summer day
2. 35019 - us tanker w/ tommy gun http://armorama.kitmaker.net/review/785 - Late spring/Summer/Early Autumn, but most likely summer.
3. 35020 - german para w/ pzschrek - http://armorama.kitmaker.net/review/948 - Late spring/Summer/Early Autumn
4. 35008 - german infantry kursk - http://armorama.kitmaker.net/review/436 - Summer of '43
5. 35061 - 12 ss "hj" grenadier - http://armorama.kitmaker.net/review/3158 - Late spring/Summer/Early Autumn
That would depend on the scene - tell us what you're planning and we'll tell you if they could work. That said, the difference between the uniforms of the US tankies is too great in terms of depicting temperature, figure 35011 shows a cooler climate, while 35019 a more warmer day.

i wanted to take all of the german soldiers and having them in one scene, going to attack a tank.
i think since some of the figures have completely different uniforms (i.e. SS, and german para, and regular soldier), i dont know if i can put them in the same scene
i am thinking of trying to find more german para's to put together, and doing it that way. mi will end up using the SS and the regular soldier in a different scene
