Just an advance that i've just been sent a load of images of some impressive-looking NEW figure sets from both Masterbox and Trumpeter. As i've got to go out in a few minutes, you're just going to have to wait until I get back.
Oooeer, I can feel the tension building already!!!

Nice to see the artwork for the new figure sets. I just hope Trumpeter delivers on the promised releases (so far so good on modern stuff this year, so my fingers are crossed).

I wouldn't get my hopes up about the Trumpy figures. I got the WWII Soviet Red Army Tank Soldiers, and they were not the best as far as plastic figures go - but also really anorexically skinny and about 45mm tall - rather underscale.
Heres some pics of them.

The weapons and accessories are vastly improved, but the figures are still so-so...
The kneepads and holster straps look like tie strings, and that one boot. I've never seen a foot bend to that degree. I'll pick these up for the weapons alone.

Same, I have the other sets which are crap, but the weapons are perfect! Tbh these look better and have some better details. I will buy them because im sure they can be improved. The last few Trumpeter kits have been better, their set of 4 US soldiers running was an improvement over earlier sets.

Jim was sidelined with an injury and is just getting back into circulation.
The figures look like quarter scale next to that T-35.
