Hello all,
I just finished this up for the Gator Navy Campaign and wanted to get everyone’s input on anything I might have missed. I am doing a number of this type and wanted to correct anything if needed.
This is the Italeri LVT 2 kit 1/35 scale with the Edward bulkhead, grates and general PE and I converted the Verlinden interior to fit, that was a job. The transfers are from HardCorpsModels “Doodles” set.
Thanks for taking the time to look and for any comments,
Bob

Hi
That's a very nice build, You've done a very good job with your build.
I just love the bulky build's of the LVT's.
I've got most of them to build 1 day.
Well done

Thanks guys for looking and taking the time to comment.
No dio I'm afraid, budget problems. I'll hopefully be able to some day I just will probably have to remove the weathering done and redo it at that time.
Thanks again,
Bob

Personally, I'd say the rust is a bit too yellow...maybe add a little orange or burnt red. Or if it's supposed to be sand add a little texture to it... a lot of those beaches were more white than yellow...

But who am I to critique! Probably a better job than I could do!

First off THANK YOU for taking the time to make your comment. A lot of people don't say anything at all.

There is little rust if any, mostly mud, and I won't debate what different colors their might be.

No sand but texture wise could you take a grain of sand for me, measure it, reduce it to 1/35 scale and let me know what the measurements are so next time I can get it right.

At least you didn't gig me on the doodles, posters, or transfers being crooked.

Really, thanks for taking the time to comment,
Bob

By the way you can do this also it's just powders, mixed with thinner and painted on, dried and lightly brush off excess where needed.
