Hi,
I’m planning my next build, the old Dragon MAZ-543 with SCUD-B. Having looked over the kit I know that there will be a lot of extra detailing needed to bring it up to scratch. Looking over the various reference sites on the web I have a good idea of what I need to do for the cabin and deck areas, but I’ve not been able to find many details for what the chassis, axels, drive shaft, braking pipes, etc. look like. If anyone has any useful reference pictures, can you please post links or point me in the right direction?
Many thanks in advance,
Ian

Hi Frenchy,
Thanks for your help and the image I'd found that one already and it does give a few pointers as to what can go in.
I have found this blog (in Polish) which documents a 1/25 scale build and has some useful shots of the chassis detail with that kit, so I think I'll be referencing that, though I will continue my searches
Cheers,
Ian

Ian,
I don't have the links I've found at hand at the 'mo however you will have more success if you search under MaZ-537, in regards to driveline details -especially with the 'recent' Trumpeter release.
Best of luck with the project.
Roger.

Before the anoraks and boffins have a hissy-fit I should just clarify that the MaZ "running gear" is the same/similiar - everything above the wheelarches is different.
Anyways just found the disc with some links so this may help:

I know there is a site with CAD drawings of the chassis (MAZ 537), unfortunately I can't recall what the site was. If you're interested, drop me a PM and I will send the pics to you.
Cheers!

Thanks for all those links -- they are just what I need! I think the CAD images will give me the best starting point to scratch up the missing detail.
Thanks again,
Ian
