Quick update...
The trailer went together perfectly, kudos to Bronco on the engineering all the panels fit snug. With that complete, it was time to get some paint on. The base coat was a mix of Dunkelgelb and Olivgrun, with the 'spots' being Gunze Khaki green. At first, I was going to attempt to spray the camo on, then sanity took over and I brushed the spots. Using a '0' brush, the pattern basically took shape with whatever music was playing at the time
The tracks were sprayed with Rotbraun for now, a couple of coats of 'Future' and decals applied. Now I'll get some flat clear on and start the detail painting and weathering process, which I'll try for a dusty appearance with very little wear and tear.

James,
I guess I missed this one being completed. Looks good. Any close-up photos though?

Stefan, thanks...definately a cool little kit which went together well.
Rudi.....this one is still being weathered, a slow process for me which is also very hodge-podge! Just applied a light airbrush dusting today, and since it'll be in relatively 'good' shape it will only be getting some pigments to finish off. Should have some photos by the weekend

Rudi.....seems I never get done Little weathering done, and a couple of close ups. Just a few touch ups and some bare metal to do, then I'll call her finished. Not happy with the overall paint, though with the diminutive size it looks okay using the Mark I eyeball......
And a size reference with a Panther....

James,
No dramas - and looks mighty fine to me
Thanks for that shot next to the Panther - man! I never realised these things were so small! They must have just popped open when hit by anything bigger than small arms fire. Strangely enough seeing its relative size makes me want one even more - got a dio idea which I'll have forgotten by the time I get home

Yeah, these old eyes are worn out working on this one.....that's why I needed to start working on a nice large 38(t)
The size comparison really shows how much detail Bronco packed into this little tankette, interior and exterior. This should be finished in a couple of weeks, then I'll take some 'glamour' shots.
Curious to hear about your dio idea.....

Hey it looks great to me! The size is stunning, looks like a 72nd scale kit next to a 35th scale...
Ordered mine this week bit I fear it'll be in the stash for the next decade or so...
Cheers

Great work. Being an immigrant in Italy I just have to start mixing Italian stuff into the stash. This looks like an excellent choice...
