Does anyone know about availability of DD (amphibious) Sherman tanks? I just watched an awesome documentry about why all 27 sunk at Omaha beach, but the ones at Utah and Sword mostly made it ashore to provide cover for the infantry.
There was some re-enactors clambering out of the sinking Shermans, and treading water clutching a tommy gun #:-) above his head as the LCIs motor past, and it would be an interesting subject for a diorama...

Been looking myself....if you find one, or anyone knows of where I (we) can get one...pass it on. Sure beats trying to scratchbuild it.

Resicast makes a full resin (of course) kit of the M4A4 DD. A bit pricey, but may be worth your while as it's the only game in town thus far... as far as I know.
