Nice idea and very good groundwork. The tree is excellent.

Glad to have you here.
The ground work is really good. The elevated base is super. The tree is good too.
I love the alternate use of the civilian. he usuall is handing someone a bottle of wine.

On your next project work on keeping something of in all the areas, he back corner is a little empty.

very good idea, good contrast between the green tree/jeep etc and the red fence, a base that's just right at the good size, a very well balanced height between base, scene and tree, all in all, I can see only fig painting improvement (and picture taking too!!) as a next step because what I see is pretty good

Good story line and painting overall. Check your references on the sergeant's coat...not sure that's typical.

Here's a real case for Hornet character heads. Both guys in the jeep have absolutely neutral looks on their faces. Getting a couple heads sculted to show anger or displ;easure would make this a much stronger story. This set has some great expressions:

Think how much more story you could be telling putting the second head on the right on the officer and the second from the left on the sergeant!

Even without the heads, though, you should try to reposition th officer so he's looking at the civilian more.

Nice work Ronny . I go with what AJ said about the facial expressions because you appear to have achieved a decent standard of painting heads there, try something from Hornet & you will surprise yourself because I found for myself that very finely detailed heads are even easier to paint. Just drill the hole in the torso (using small to larger sizes) before painting then afterwards just slot the head in.(donīt forget to trim the neck length before painting like I did once, that was funny ,it,s a pity I didnīt take a photo). I really canīt comment on your photography because mine is probably worse.

Hej Ronny. Definatly can see the influence of Per Olav in this scene ... the weathered fence in particular. Hes a master at such details.
Have to agree with the guys above. Great composition and idea. AJ tips are something that would definatly lift it another level, as well.
