Made a start on this little MBT from the Trumpeter range at the club workshop last weekend.
Apart from a little flash the kit is going together very well indeed. However, I am stumped to what shade of green is to be used. Instructions call for overall German Field Grey which seems a bit light to me.
Any suggestions as build articles seem to be a tad light on.
Cheers and thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,
Like these tanks a lot. I have got a 1/35th one to build in the colours of the swedish flag as part of a 'build from a photograph or picture' campaign from my IPMS club. I will post pics when I get started.
Look forward to more progress from you

According to some tips I got here in Sweden when I built mines,
Tamiya XF-13 J.A.GREEN is a very suitable colour for the Strv.103b

Hope you didn't glue the boxes on the front because you have turned them the wrong way.
They should be rotated 180 degrees.
Also note that on the B-version there should only be four digits in the registration number.
Remove the first two (20)

No, not much has been done.
Thanks for the registration number info as well.
I still need to lock that overall green colour down though. Would JA Green be too dark?
Cheers

Cheers and thanks

Confirm what?
If you are doing a B-version the registration number should only have four digits.
The first two (20) was applied after the vehicles was modified to C-standard.
The vehicle kept it's original number but two digits (20) was added in front of the number.

I wish I had known that about the digits. Mine is nearly done! Hmm....
I painted mine Testors Acryl Marine Corps Green and dry brushed it with Testors Grau RLM 02, then sprayed a light coat of green. Made a wash out of black, green and brown. Made mud stains out of pastels and then hit it with dullcoat.
