Does anybody know how the 2 SIDE-WINDOWS of its turret open up. That is , how it looks like from outside when they are fully opened.

I don't know fully but if you go through the pages on this article, you might get what you need

"page suivante" means next page. Click on that to advance the article
On page four are several shots of the viewport apparatus from inside.

Roy, thanks for such detailed & up-close photos' link, unluckily these are closed windows which does not lead one to conclude for sure how it would look from outside when it is fully opened

Pierre
I'm no expert, but are you sure these episcopes can be open ? No hinges are visible inside (or outside...). To me they seem to be bolted on the turret from inside..

Roy-- great find as always, a ton of valuable information to include where the individual vehicles were assigned. I am fired up to build her.
Many thanks

The episcopes are mounted in separate plates that don't open, a look though the alphabetic list of B1bis names on chars francais confirms this. They were either bolted or welded in place.
Thanks for reposting the military-kits article BTW Roy, I'd lost the link.

DJ: I finished the Tamiya kit a while ago and it was one of my most fun recent builds. I have my tweaks up on this thread

Note that depending on the specific tank's production, there are subtle differences (cf. thediameter of locking hub on the hull door). Contact me offsite if you need assistance.

Finally my project is finished. To thank you gentlemen, I have posted my video
Detailed weatherings have been avoided because a thick tough coat of paint is preferred for protection from bumping, scratching & rough handling or even dropping for RC models
If you do not like my light weathering style, I think at least you will enjoy the beautiful song & music in it
