How about any Czech Masters models?

Hi Phil,

Here's the (rather short) list of reviews we have on Kitmaker for this vendor: THE COMPLETE LIST OF CZECH MASTERS KITS REVIEWS

It may give an insight into the general quality of the vendor's products.

Thanks for the tip mate. I just looked at the modern US Crew, the detail is rather good compared to how they look painted in the photos on netmerchants.

Cheers

Hi Phil, ive used a couple of Czech masters figures and seen a lot in the flash and im not a big fan. They do some nice subjects and the figures are ok however they have an odd way or sculpting them which means the folds look over pronounced. Whilst on figures such as Blast models the details and folds are crisp but softer and more natural looking, the CMK figures are just too crisp and look unrealistic. For example straps on their figures torsos always look too crisp and dont rest naturally against the figures body. Some of the poses on their figures are a bit stiff as well and odd looking.
Id approach CMK figures with some caution. That said you can do things to improve them, id recommend rubbing some scotch bright over the figure to soften some of the details and perhaps consider removing some of the molded on gear and replacing with other AM stuff. Im sure ive seen the British tanker set before and put it down, looking for better options on the market. If you can get them cheap go for it but be prepared for some work to make the figures more natural, otherwise id recommend blast models for a decent modern British tank crew.

Dont be put off by my comments on CMK as some of their stuff isnt bad, ive been more put off by their tank crew figures than anything else. Some of their stuff is nice and with a little work can be made good, for example they have a couple of decent IDF figure sets as well as some good looking modern US figures. Its just a problem with that overly crisp and unnatural looking details

Hope this helps

Thanks for the comments, with those in mind i will try to get my hands on some to look at before i decide if i will buy them or not, as i did find a modern tank crew from blast models.

Cheers
