I bought a Tamiya 1/35 Panzer IV kmpf and I put it together and airbrushed it only to find the treads were too small... is there any way to order new more realistic replacement treads?

Hi, Check on the tracks by Friulmodel or Model Kasten. They are both really nice and are highly recommended by anyone who uses them. They aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Academy makes a set of single link tracks that are very cheap. They are set #1357 and contain 224 links, enough for a complete tank plus extras. Includes a drive sprocket and two different idler wheels. Mine ran $7 and I plan on using it for a CMK Bergenpanzer IV that is based on the older Tamiya Pz.Kpfw IV Ausf. H kit. Expect to pay $25-30 for Fruil or MK tracks.

MAchu,
If you want a more ralistic look and feel for your tracks, I suggest Friulmodel. They're the best way to go. Made out of metal, they sag naturally. I do not know about other manufacturers, but since you're choosing the make the separate link tracks, go for metal instead of plastic.
