Nice site Animal,
I really love the gun trucks, and I´m planning to make a little conversion using the AFV Club M35A2 along with a quad gun from an M16 halftrack from Tamiya (Yes, I know I can find it already as a whole kit, but unffortunately I was planning this conversion long ago the AFV release, so I´ll keep on moving!).
I´m planning about making the Andrea, what do you think?
Cheers

Hey Paulo, is the Andrea a Gun Truck form Brazil? I know that the are still using gun trucks in Columbia today as well as in the Phillipeans. You have any photos of this truck? I would love to see it. When you finish your model post some pictures. I have built a lot of gun trucks using the M-35 A2 as a starting point. We actually had a few A2's in Vietnam. The Assassin was one of them.
Thanks for the comments

No the Andrea is Vietnam era Gun Truck, Gunnie sent some pics of it time ago.
It uses the quad, and I tought it would be better to scape from the now commom Nancy.
Cheers

Nice site Animal. The only problem I have is that's a bit slow to load, but for sure it's not your fault...

The base kits for the gun trucks, 2 1/2 ton, and five ton is the AFV club M35 series. I modified the cab and then cast the new cab for the M-54 5 tons trucks. I use the M925 series model kits by Italeri for the bed and chassis assembly. I also convert the M-34 Revell model kit to the M-54 configuation also. The M123 series tractor is a modified M-35 series AFV Club kit cab. I cast the ten ton wheels form the dragon wagon wheel set from the Tank Workshop. The trailers are all scratch built from sheet plastic from Evergreen. The only kit trailer is the one carrying the M-42 duster by the Lil Abner tractor.
