Hello,

a new campaign will start on June 1st.

Everyone is invited to participate in this mission - I am sure there will be something you will find to build.

Ribbon is already created but the upload will still take some time.

Tuomas,

I am sorry but I do not know what you mean - two campaigns?

Can you show me please the second campaign you described as the same one?

Hello Todd,

and welcome to this campaign.

"Would the LeClerc count if its in UN markings??"

Sure.

Not only that I am also currently building such a Leclerc , the member country by itself is what matters - not the mission.

Good luck.

I have a question.
I Have an older Tamiya M60A1, which has been build very basically (allmost crudely),.
I want to redo it by adding an engine and open bay, adding new tracks, a dozer, details, fill (a lot of) gaps, repaint it in a 4-tone, U.S. European camouflage and add a crew... in short rebuild it.
Does it still qualify for this campaign??

Strong and fast beginning Todd.

The Leclerc is really a joy to build (excepting the optics you have to cut out).

Crystal clear and the old testors window maker and canopy glue works really well for that sort of thing ... just have to be REALLY careful painting it or you'll stick the brush right through it ...

Hello David,

a ship would be great.

Looking forward to the build.

Good luck so far for your submarine.

Good to see a respectable start on this campaign, Todd.

I am joining with the Italeri Ariete C1 tank. Work will start shortly, so more will follow soon.

thanks Jesper. I am just about finished with the up-armored version on the C1 ... just needs weathering ... The LeClerc has had some progress ... the roadwheels and running gear are painted and the turret is roughly finished ... now to find time to get back at it

Another campaign slowly, but steadily, developing!

I thought I'd show you what I am starting off with.
This is what my entry looked like when I opened it's storagebox;

It contained 1 hull, 1 turret, both in a sorry state, 1 pile of wheels, 1 bag of parts fallen of, 1 resin engine with bay, hatches etc, 1 dozerblade with some loose parts, 4 (?) vinyl tracks, 1 bag with crewfigure remnants, 1 bag with 105mm ammo and 1 bag of modern jerrycans and such.

When laid out it looks less dramatic..... sort off....;

I was thinking about setting the M60 with an opened up enginebay on a firingrange with a load of ammo next to it, titled : "Fire and Manouevre??"

I was wondering if I could join in, I am currently building a M113A2 for OP Just Cause and my build is currently displayed on the Armour/Afv forum.

Hello Gilbert,

"I was wondering if I could join in".

You can.

It does not matter where the current build blogs are published as long as the enlisted participants upload at least one pic of their finished models within this thread.

Here's my first post from my build so far.
It seems like I keep on taking the thing apart more instead of puttting it together!
I started of with filling in the gaps in the turret and main gun;

Then I turned my attention to the enginebay and its contents. In order to get the bay into the model, some major surgery was needed!

This is what it will look like at some point..... I hope...
