I came across the following two sets of sculpts by Alexander Zelenkov (whom figure aficionados may recognise having released 2 1/9 scale busts through The Body) on diorama.ru.
One has to admit these, the first set in particular, are truly original poses. (click the links to see the photos/sculptures' pages)

Yes they are excellent sculpts and I've followed his work quite a bit. alot of it is shown on the Russian Diorama site

That is some real good figure work. Completely origional poses. I do have one comment though.... the guy all the way on the left kind of looks trollish or something...the head looks too big.
Maybe I shouldn't criticize because I can't do anything that good, and I still think they llok great, but that one head just looks off to me.
