Now I have done modeling for a little while but no real dio's. So the question is how do you get the pine tree's to look so good. I read about them and have seen real stick's with holes drilled in them and fake branch's put on . The fake tree's are just plain out bad. I want the realest look possible. Any thing will help .

Howdy,
The trick is to use Asperagus.
It comes in 3 sorts.
The plain Asperagus, the feather Asperagus and China Asperagus.
The way to use it ?
Just take some small rodds or make them your self from clay.
( Note : the thickker the rod the higher the tree )
Drill holes into the rod.
Paint the tree trunk brownnish with the north side a bit greener.
Cut from the branch of Asperagus small branches and stick an glue them into the trunk with PVA glue.
Then fixate the branches with hair spray to prevent that they will fall out .
At last airbrush your tree in a diverse color pattern of green.
Et voilá
A nice pine tree.
Eric
