Hey guys,
I’m searching for some good diorama ideas for my M18 Hellcat but so far I’ve been able to uncover pitifully few photos of those vehicles in use during WWII. Does anyone have a link to an online source or the name of a good reference book?
Thanks,
Noah

Any M18 “in action” photos?

If you want some variation, I have a couple of photos I can look up of the M18 on Luzon and Okinawa.

Hate to have a run in with 3 M-18's
M-18's in the PTO? I must of missed that part in history class.

Here are some more from Pathe. These are attached to the 6th Armored Division.

They were attached to the 637th TD battalion deployed starting in January 1945, used from long range to attack fixed positions in place of the towed 37mm and 57mm anti-tank guns. They were also used on Ie Shima. I was looking at photos online on Monday. Today I cant locate the reference. I was sure it was through ibiblio.

M18 following the M20. Action is on Luzon. Too distant for clear markings.
Another M18, just down the hill. Again, no clear markings visible.
I've seen a photo of an M-18 on Okinawa. It was covered with grass or canes as camoflauge with only the barrel and road wheels visible.

If you're looking for some ideas on diorama builds, I'm doing a battle of the bulge bastogne scene where my M-18 will be fighting with some paratroopers. About the only time those two fought side by side...The 705th TD and 101st AB had a great working relationship.
