Hi guys

im building the afv pak 40, i have to say an excellent kit, but while working on it and going through different walkourounds i found different types of it. for example the front cover of the slide as in the pics, or the supporting legs seem to differ quite a bit.

I only have the polish publication which does not say much in english, would anyone know which one is the early or late or mid production type, what are they main differences? or where they produced by different factrories?

did not find anything in google...

thanx for any knowledge sharing

Daniel, great question. I have two guesses, no facts involved. According to my book their were 9 different manufacturers for the gun. I'm pretty sure that not all of them made all the parts the same. The other guess is that one of the front cover's is a labor saving part. Cheeper to build than the other. My book I'm looking at is Weapons of the Third Reich. Their is one picture in the book so no comparisons are readily available. Hopefully someone with more info will post the real answer.
Joe
