Sorry about the '?' on top of the page, this is my completed segment number 8, and I won't be taking this any further, I did finish 3 others, however, I ended up by stripping them back and hense the reason why this is now the only completed segment 8 of 10, if possible I would like both good and bad comments.

its looking good, I do think some of the trees look at little to green though, can could possibly do with painting to help blend them into your scene.
i have also changed the title just PM me if you want it changing to something else
cheers
Keith

Looks good although I agree with the previous comment on the color of the trees being a bit too bright. Also from historical stand point, I’m not sure how many of these would actually survive an artillery barrage laid down before any attack on the position according to the military doctrine of the time. You don’t see many trees on the photos of WWI frontlines...

Thank you Keith, that's much appreciated, and may I please leave it with that title, Galwitz, of course you're spot on, mostly smashed barbed-wire mud as far as the eye can see and perhaps a few shattered trees which would be nothing like my diorama, its asking a lot from the reader to imagine the British and German just setting up defences, and at the same time engaged in open field combat, having said that, I actually wanted something a little different from the usual mud and blood, so I've tried to segment heavily forested to trench to broken buildings a bit of everything you could say, and yes I most certainly have chewed off more than I can eat, but I'll press on.
