Well, it's official now. They will launch production in July, which means some Asian hobby e-stores may begin selling it by August.
Your move, DML (thinks with evil grin).

Finally...

I mean Trumpeters box art is a bit... strange.... (tank seems to move very quickly and people are jumping off... I know how it is to jump off a tank that isn't moving at all... no chance to jump off a tank moving as fast as it seems on that box art.. well, whatever, lets hope the tank itself is more correct )

And some decent 70s/80s MR troops to go with it - wonder what the chances are? Don't think the LO Models ones cut it somehow.....................

Did I miss the MSRP or...?

Hoping they hit this one out of the ballpark. Really.

Think-62? I hope they won't charge extra for pre-order price from almost two years ago.
Trumpeter said they will release a dozen versions based on this tank. Is there any chance of getting IT-1 Drakon? Conversion for Tamiya's 1/33ish T-62 is not cutting it for me anymore.

uuummmmm 12 versions? Interesting. T62D, T62A, Model 60, model 67, model 72, T62M, T62K, IT Dragon, T62-120(?), T62MV, T62 Drozd....... It just seems like itll be a repack of just the basic kits(?).

Im still dying to see a modern T72/90 platform (I know Zvesda......) or the rumored Tamiya T80......

Gaoyue, please thinks about a T62 BDD, it will save us tons of time for building Afghanistan or Chechnya russian's ones!

I'll do a T62 mod 62 for sure and of course ... a T62BDD!

Great news, i hopes the kit will be accurate (specially the turret).

There were many T-62A/M used in Chechnya in 1999-2001. Anyway, this could really turn out to be golden egg laying goose for Trumpeter-small amount of new parts needed lots of possible variants.
