Great build ... enjoyed it a lot. But a Shot Kal is in no way "basically a MkV" - different engine deck, rear end, exhausts, guards, stowage bins, and I could go on. You also need to eradicate those leads and mounts for the smoke dischargers on the turret.
I have been looking at this kit and you ahve inspired me to go out and get one!

I like it as well, although I have never seen the fenders painted black like that. I think that's usually for later models with the rubber fender extensions.

Nice work. Just finishing mine now. Nice kit. I was also wondering about the conduit on the turret side, but I found many pics. of the Shot with it intact. So, I left mine in place too. I guess they were getting ready to mod. it with smoke launchers when war broke out.
