A quick question for the US WWII armour buffs.Did the m-18 hellcat have a camo scheme ie green/brown-green/ black. Just wondered as I have started the Academy kit and wanted to do something other just green.If not then green it is.

Darren- As I have that kit also, I can say I have not seen any pics of it in cammo scheme paint. I HAVE seen more than a few in piles of gear,netting, and shrubbery/branches outfits. Don't have any specific sites to point you at but I'm sure normal search ques will find them. Cheers! Rick

12 Army Group recommended that winter white not be a complete coat, but allow patches of OD to show through. This was for the winter of 1944~45. I believe that most of this was done with white-wash, and also was done by hand. There are a few examples in Steven Zaloga's US Tank Battles in Germany.
