It's a little late, like 2 decades worth, but some crew finally for the Tamiya 3.7cm FlaK37 AA cannon.
Tamiya 35302
My guess is that they're taking advantage of the new kits coming out from Dragon and Trumpeter.
Cheers

Hi John
I think you may be right, although they have announced a while ago that they are revamping their 3.7 Flak. certainly the flurry of recent releases from Dragon, Trumpter etc. will make the potential for more sales even greater.
I'd like to see what the figures actually look like, as opposed to some nice box art before passing any judgement.
Thanks for the heads up on these.

Hey Alan,
At least these guys appear to be wearing Luftwaffe uniforms.
The last Flak crew that Tamiya produced were for their 2cm Flakvierling and they were wearing padded snow suits.
They did another set for their old Mobelwagen with the Flakvierling that were wearing standard Heer early war uniforms with jackboots.
It's a shame that the Mobelwagen gun crew never got released as a separate set.
Considering when they came out, they aren't too bad.
Cheers

Hi John
I've just seen a picture of the figures from a recent show. Look a little strange in their proportions to me, strangely thin in the legs from the images I can see. Maybe its the camera angle, they just don't look right. Have to wait and see I guess.

Thanks for the link Alan.
Yeah, I think it might be the camera angle.
The guy with the binoculars in the far group with the FlaK gun looks really thin but his twin in the near group and the unpainted ones at the bottom don't look too bad.
Of course, time will tell once they're released.
Cheers

Hi
just a little update on these. I understand from what I've read they are made for Tamiya by ICM as part of their collaboration with Tamiya .

They ARE the ICM figures. Tamiya are not, it seems, doing any new figure releases - relying entirely on ICM for their mouldings.

Set includes 5 crewmen figures by ICM: A commander looking into binoculars, a gunner,a spotter with rangefinder, and two loaders.
Displaying this set with other 1/35 scale military figures and vehicles would definitely addexcitement to any diorama.
Add greater realism to these figures with the WWII German Military Insignia Decal Set(Item 12625).
