Well, I can't say much about the plane except that they must be fiddly to work with in this scale.
My advice here would be to put the grass matt at least on some sort of wooden base to make it look a bit better.
Figures aren't easy in 1/72 either, you know probaly that there is room to improve here for you.
Cheers
Claude

Hello Claude, by luck I found some old photo frames, and it almost fits like a glove, I'll keep it as it is, and any or all mistakes I'll try and avoid on my next diorama, although quite happy to leave it as it was, I must strongly adjure to the side of a frame, it makes all the difference although not a very good frame. This building and viewing dioramas is great, and I might be lousy at building and painting, I am nevertheless learning a lot.

As crazy as this might seem, a scale model, wings, flying through the air errrrrr um why not post it on Aeroscale ? Never even crossed my mind Tuomas Hirvilammi, what's that old saying - can't see the wood for the trees - thank you for that jog and I have now posted my Albatros onto the aeroscale site, this is not an excuse, but, I've been going mad building one dio after another and posting them on the armour site, and without even thinking about it, posted the aircraft dio on the same site, what a berk ! never mind all sorted out now, and once again thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

to be honest i dont mind Planes in a dio here.
( the hint is the option to tick the plnes box in the topic starting thing)
but i guess posting it is both is better as planes and tanks is chalk and cheese.
nice work tho AL i think the figures are painted very well, plus i find bright colours hard to pull off so good job on the planes paintjob too!
whats next Captain ww1?

Hi James and firstly thank you for the kind words, and the rest, I feel I've taken up far to much room on this web-site, and only the other day I counted the first 4 threads were by me which must annoy people as it will knock others off the bottom of the page, the only downside to this web-site there's no gallery where there's a history of your work which does not get removed unless you delete it, with this site you post your own photo's which I've now filled up, if you go onto the modelwarships.com you'll see what I mean about gallery, While its good building dioramas, these small ones I tend to build too fast, so now I'll sit and wait for the rest of my stuff to arrive and see if I can finish that big WW1 dio off.
