I am sorry the site was down again Monday. In my eagerness to try to fix a user login issue I inadvertently copied a file to a wrong directory. This directory as it turns out is one of the few that does a batch auto inclusion of all the files present. So my stow-away file caused all sorts of nightmares. It took me 4 hours to track the issue down.
Well alls well that ends well I guess. I was really starting to get desperate when it finally dawned on me that this file wasn't suppose to be there.

Not a problem Jim! I can just imagine what you had to go through just to get this up and running again. Thought our administrator blocked the site because I've been using too much bandwidth #:-)

Did he block it by IP or domain? There is always a way around that. hehe
Later,
Jim

If he ever comes around to doing that whacking him on the head with an IBM Z mainframe should make him realize the wrong he has done #:-)
He hasn't done anything of that sort yet though. Tunneling should work with blocked IPs but I haven't tried it yet

I know nothing about what you dudes talking about, but sounds like Hi-Tech crime to me. By the way, Jim, thank you for all the hard work put in for the site. (++)

I don't want to start another thread so here's my problem...
I went to MSN Armorama and tried to sign-in so as to upload pix of my Barbarossa entry. After clicking Sign-in, I get a page that states the MSN group (Armorama) is experiencing problems with the .Net passport. Any ideas Jim?

I am not sure what is going on over there at MSN HQ. They are obviously doing some upgrades of their own, but I am not sure if it's effecting all the MSN communities or just ones on particular servers. Remember ours is rather large so it may be experiencing problems that other smaller ones are not. (This happened with Digital Dioramas once with their gallery)
Hopefully it will all straighten itself soon. The good news is that soon we won't be as dependant on MSN as we will have our own user photo posting ability onsite as well as a possible chat engine.
Cheers,
Jim

I didn't want to add yet another topic, but I again "stepped in it" this morning when I added a simple re-direct for Rob's motorpool. It's amazing how many little things can unbalance the delicate workings of a Web server.
Okay...they bad things come in threes (knocking on wood) so that should do it.
