Hello and help!! Can anyone help me re did the M8 carry a spare, if so where? and when in winter whitewash were the tools on the deck painted also?? Have the Tamiya kit and found a spot-on replacement for the dodgy solid drivers' hatch handles. Giving up on trying sprue to that mini size and shape, I used the thin plastic of that little strip that holds a label on new clothing (which looks like a T shape) and bent it to shape of handle then cut and glued in position. Worked a treat, but guess there may be more than one thickness of these tags... but this one was perfect scale! (I'm sure someone has already thought of this, but hey, if not , it could be an option to explore?) Cheers lads

No spare was carried. These combat tires were an early version/concept of modern-day run-flats. Maintenance Contact vehicles carried spares for tires that were too torn up to be serviceable.

Depended on the crew and haste in which the whitewashing was applied. Never say never...
