Hello everyone,
I know a very limited number of these tanks made it to the ETO in time to participate in combat operations but I was wondering if anyone has any images they can post. I’ve tried a couple google searches but so far have had very limited success.
Thanks,
Noah
BTW – any reference books you can suggest will be very welcome too.

Noah,
Here's the vehicle gallery on my clubs' website. The M26 is next to last on the list.

The best technical reference would be the Hunnicutt Pershing book. Try to find it on inter-library loan.

Well that's rare, red "X's" on a reply from Frenchy
There's also the famous video clip of a M-26 firing at a Panther G at all most point blank range. The name of the town escapes me right now.

The city was Cologne and it was right in front of the big cathedral:

Osprey Publishing (New Vanguard #35) M26/M46 Pershing Tank 1943-1953 is a decent reference....ISBN is 1-84176-202-4. Should be really easy to find cheap on eBay.

Hi! This is the unfortunate 'Pershing' that lost it's tag team brawl with a Tiger 1 in Elsdorf, a sister M26 was victorious in the return match with another Tiger 1 in Elsdorf... Thanks for posting these ETO images fellas, as I am looking at depicting an 'Elsdorf M26 Pershing' in a planned project with a Tiger.
Cheers Phil.

Frank-- what a great job on the T26 diorama. What did you use for the signal panel (material and paint)?
Thanks

Actually I crafted the sign on my PC using Powerpoint. Cut and pasted the 9th Armor Division from a web site. I pasted the finished work to a piece of white foam and then covered the exposed ends with spackle followed by paint. The end result did take on a look of fabric rather than paper.
The whole diorame is made from white foam coated with spackle. The end result is a very light diorama that will take some bump without breaking.
Thanks for the complement -

No phone box and no turnbuckles from the hull to the fenders. The phone box mounted on the hull rear is a Korean War modification. Imagine trying to talk to a Pershing tank crew while standing next to that direct exhaust pipe -
