Hard to say also for the roof.Alexandre's method? Is this sanding paper? Maybe it disappeared after priming, but you should pay attention at the direction of the lines in the tiling material (hard to explain) . Probably it is best to have them all the same way (not like you did). But, there is no clear picture of it after painting, so i don't see if it has consequences.

Lunch is calling, i will check some more details later.

Cheers
Claude

Hi there,
Claude, I think Domi means doing the tiles with cardboard, like I've done on the roof of my cretan house.
But there's no Alexandre method, just a way I think it works..
I like your Job Domi, it becomes greater from step to step.

Cheers.

Hello everybody, I think the construction of houses and others are already finished.
I entertained these days to build drains with tin foil, constructed another mailbox with the remains, a trellis for the plant with evergrenn and add some details such as house numbers.

if you see anything that should be corrected or you are something you do know me

You are an artist in every sense of the word! An outstanding piece, which shows the levals of
detail and story telling one can achieve in a diorama. Really well done old boy!

Stunning. A lot of details to be discovered, over and over again.

It looks like a lot of tiny details and a real atmosphere set in your diorama while I was away, the last pictures make me want to wish I was there, this is lovely and very different as usual with you, keep on!

Hello everyone, after a short season without being able to enjoy our hobby back to load.
I'm with the figures, actually the hardest part for me

Here you have three of them, I hope not much you dislike

and as the figure of Master Box no terms of taste, took the girl with the big breasts and a transformation, this is more beautiful and less striking in the light

You really need to read this book that came out last year & now in paper back about the island "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" by Mary Ann Shaffer, Annie Barrows. It is a short quick read and will give the flavor during the occupation.

Your dio reminded me of the book immediately and looks really great.

very happy to see you back again for good Domi my friend! Now those figures are really okay honestly.
I just realized by seeing the picture viewed from above which is up there at which point -though the scene is rectangular- you really succeeded in doing something looking asymmetric and created a great balance with the elements, as usual I absolutely *love* your diorama

Hi Domi,
Incredible work! The atmosphere is great. And i would like to propose a new rule for diorama modelling: from now on every diorama shall have a beautifull blonde in it!

Hi Domi,
Can I first just echo everything that's been said by everyone....fantastic attention to detail, and incredible so much has been built from scratch. You should be very proud!!
I live in Jersey, Channel Islands, & it's great to see someone recreating a part of our history. However, one thing stood out, the 'Holborn Viaduct' sign underneath the arch....... I presume this is a street sign? Holborn Viaduct is in London, the islands never had a viaduct. It just looked out of place. As for the Union Jack sign, I don't really know, i guess if it's an advertisment you could get a way with it, but I would assume the occupying forces wouldn't fancy the locals having a reminder of who their loyalty should really be with?
One thing locals did do however was paint a 'V' in white paint around the islands at times on walls, roads etc... to symbolize 'V for Victory' for the allies, a crime that would mean certain imprisoment, & even deportation to Europe for the perpetrator. Obviously the 'V' would swiftly be removed by the Germans, but it's just a thought.
Anyway, well done again, tremendous job!!

SIMON.

Hello Simon.
thank you very much for your feedback.
undoubtedly going to change the sign of the viaduct.
And the idea of the V I like going to paint a (I assume that within the tunnel, I thought of paint on the recruiting poster)

if you think of anything more feel free to tell me

I live in Majorca and here is no information on the subject other than via internet and not find much

greetings

Simon's comment after I searched plates with the name of the street that were more consistent.
after searching I found these correspond to streets of St. Peter Port in Guernsey, I noticed that under the name in English is the translation into French.

if there is nothing against going to look the sharpest and situate them in the diorama

Hello everyone
I am with the last figure, I still have the photogravure of the bicycle and the Opel Olympia, but while I wait ....
this figure simply added the arms (the originals had not) and take advantage to the hand making a gesture to the child, so there is complicity between them

Hi Domi,

Apologies, been a while since I looked in on this one. Excellent progress, the card players are very apt. Great stuff all round.
