t-62 - t-62M difference?

Looking at the Great Models website I saw they had 2 Trumpeter T-62 kits on preorder. ONe was just T-62 the other T-62M. Looking for the version most common to Warsaw pact forces lined up against US in early 70's

Use the T-62 for the early 70's.

The T62M had a revised turret with a Dushka antiaircraft machine gun mount. Much later, applique armor packages were applied as seen in Afghanistan in the 1980's. Either vehicle could be seen in Soviet service in the 70's.

OK great...T-62 is the one. Now to find soeone who has a pre-order discount price. GM has it listed but no price listed as yet.
