questions, this is a bit of a mixed bag so please bare with me.
1. What's the best way to paint eyes on the 1-35 figures.
The other questions are basically all 1-72 build.
2. WW2 dio phase 2 are there any sand dio's out there.
3. colour 8th army uniform as I am having problems finding a good photo of the uniforms worn by the British WW2 desert.
As always, looking forward to your replies.

I do eyes last and with a toothpick and oil white. This lets me 'fix' it when required. I go back in with a toothpick and black. Be aware of where you place the black, it can make or break a face.
I then let it all dry and add a bit of dark wash to fill in the creases.
Sand dios - not sure what you mean or what you're looking for DAK or Normandy? For sand I use -- sand, very fine play sand or even the decorateive colored sand from a hobby store. Build up the base with spackle. I don't use celluclay because it isn't smooth enough.
Uniform color is not my bag.

Hello Scott, yes something with the 8th army, field gun, sand dunes and the like, I've found a ton of pix mostly black and white, and the others simply to far away to see clearly, so I was wondering if anyone had built a diorama with phase 2 monty and the 8th army, this way I get the best of both worlds, a sandy dio with coloured uniforms.

I haven't done any big dune dioramas.
The closest one I've got is
I've seen a few with more things like rock outcrops vs. rolling dunes.
This is just sand/gravel mixed into spackle and painted various hobby acrylics.

Yes Scott, but I'm none to sure about the ugly woman in that white dress though, but the diorama is basically what I am searching for, I've managed to use my favorite caulk for all surfaces with a few rocks here and there, but I am still on the hunt for more dio's

James - that is 101% of what I've been searching for, I hate it, as I can only dream about building something that good, come to think of it, I might nick the idea at a later date, appreciate the effort you made finding it for me.
