hi there,
i am working on italeri's usmc sherman.
i want to make a vignette in wading action.
only the turret and the wading trunks.
have anybody info or pictures about the sherman with trunks?
any help is welcome

Fine Scale Modeler has a book called Armor Conversion and Detailing Projects. In it there is an article on scratchbuilding the wading set (before the Italeri kit release). There are some useful photos of the kit under going the conversion.

Sander can you get Military Modelling Magazine? in last months issue Steve Zaloga did a article on the wading sherman.He did a Normandy model and there are a few reference photo's and drawings may help you. all the best.

thanks kencelot, i haven't seen this picture but a drawing of the tank in Mr. Zaloga's sherman book.

ShermanS., the only pic I have is very small and the M4 is just in up to it's bogies - maybe two feet deep.
